Regional Data Residency
ToothFairyAI provides complete data sovereignty through regionally isolated infrastructure. When you sign up, you choose where your data will be stored, and ToothFairyAI guarantees that your data will remain exclusively in that region.
Selecting Your Data Region
During sign-up, you determine your data residency by choosing your regional platform:
- European Union: Sign up at app.eu.toothfairyai.com - All data stored exclusively in EU infrastructure
- United States: Sign up at app.us.toothfairyai.com - All data stored exclusively in US infrastructure
- Australia: Sign up at app.au.toothfairyai.com or app.toothfairyai.com - All data stored exclusively in AU infrastructure
Your workspace region is set upon creation and cannot be changed. The workspace region is inherited from the region of the user signed up and determines where all data, conversations, documents, and configurations will be stored throughout the lifetime of such workspace.
Data Sovereignty Guarantees
ToothFairyAI maintains complete architectural isolation between regions:
- Regional isolation: All workspace data remains exclusively within its designated region (EU, US, or AU) and is NEVER SHARED across regional boundaries
- Independent architectures: Each region operates its own isolated infrastructure, databases, and processing systems
- Compliance: Full adherence to regional data protection regulations including GDPR (EU), Australian Privacy Principles (AU), and US data protection standards
Select the region closest to your primary operations or that aligns with your data compliance requirements. Your choice ensures optimal performance and regulatory compliance for your organization.

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
Multi-Factor Authentication adds an extra layer of security to your account by requiring a second form of verification when signing in. This helps protect your account even if someone gets access to your password.
How MFA Works
MFA uses a time-based code that changes every 30 seconds. You'll need:
- Your regular password (something you know)
- A code from your authenticator app (something you have)
Setting Up MFA
To enable MFA on your account:
-
Install an Authenticator App - Download any authenticator app on your phone:
- Google Authenticator
- Microsoft Authenticator
- Authy
- Any other TOTP-compatible app
-
Enable MFA in Account Settings - Navigate to your account security settings and click "Enable MFA"
-
Scan the QR Code - Use your authenticator app to scan the QR code displayed on screen
-
Verify Setup - Enter the 6-digit code from your app to confirm everything is working
-
Save Codes - Store the code in a safe place - you'll need these if you lose access to your authenticator app
Important Notes
Some workspace administrators may require MFA to be enabled for all members. This is typically enforced for workspaces with an Enterprise subscription for enhanced security.
If your workspace requires MFA, you won't be able to access it until you enable MFA on your account.
Signing In with MFA
Once MFA is enabled:
- You'll enter your email and password as usual
- Then enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app
- This applies to both the web app and Desktop client
- The code refreshes every 30 seconds, so enter it quickly
Disabling MFA
To disable MFA:
- Go to your account security settings
- Click "Disable MFA"
- Enter your current authenticator code to confirm
- MFA will be removed from your account

This section allows the user to modify specific parameters that apply only to responses and outputs when the user is interacting with the agents. It enables also tailored instructions on a user level on all agents

Billing
ToothFairyAI is a pure pay-per-use service — you buy intelligence credits upfront and are billed for the Units of Intelligence (UoI) you actually consume. Our services are natively integrated with Stripe for secure and reliable payments.
Your billing profile is personal to your account and shared by every workspace you own — it is not a workspace setting. The per-workspace usage budget (in UoI) is managed separately by administrators from Admin → General settings. See Workspace Budgets & Billing Enforcement.
The billing section of your profile covers:
-
Credits & limits : Your live credit balance (USD and UoI), manual recharge ($5 minimum), auto-recharge rules and the account-level monthly spend cap that hard-stops consumption across all your workspaces.
-
Payment method : The payment methods used for recharges and invoices, stored securely with Stripe. You can keep multiple cards, set a primary, and update them at any time. SSO accounts cannot register payment methods.
-
Billing details : The billing details shown on your invoices — name, address and optional business name and tax ID.
-
Billing history : Your recharges and invoice payments. The user can download the invoices, review and pay pending invoices safely and securely through Stripe.

For the full guide — recharge packs, auto-recharge thresholds, spend cap semantics and how pauses resume — see Billing, Credits & Spend Limits.
