ToothFairyAI uses Units of Intelligence (UoI) as a simple, transparent way to measure and pay for AI operations. Instead of complex per-feature pricing, UoI gives you a single currency to budget and track all your AI usage.
What is a UoI?
1 UoI = $0.01 USD
That's it. A clear, predictable unit that makes it easy to understand exactly what you're spending on AI operations. Whether you're generating text, creating images, or transcribing audio, everything is measured in UoI.

Monthly Budgets by Subscription
Your subscription includes a monthly UoI allocation that resets each billing cycle:

Your total monthly budget is calculated as UoI per Unit × Capacity Units. For example:
- A Business workspace with 10 capacity units: 5,000 × 10 = 50,000 UoI/month
- An Enterprise workspace with 20 capacity units: 7,500 × 20 = 150,000 UoI/month

Text Generation (LLMs)
Large Language Model usage is measured in tokens. Pricing varies by model tier based on capability and performance:

A typical conversation message is ~50-100 tokens. A page of text is approximately 500-750 tokens.
